All-Stars Night Championship – Match Rules

Match Format:

Match Start Conditions:

• All matches should start and end at scheduled time. No exceptions will be allowed. In case of slow over rate, D/L method will be applied, to reduce the overs and finish the match on time.
• There are no minimum player requirements. The match can be started with 2 players. 
• Playing 11 and substitute to be declared 10 minutes before the scheduled match start time.

Impact Player Rule

• 1 Impact Player allowed in addition to Playing 11
• Impact Player can be subbed in any natural break, like after the end of an over or the fall of a wicket.
• Impact Payer can replace any player (batting/bowling/fielding).  However, they are not permitted to bowl the remaining deliveries of the current over.

Powerplay Rules

• League: First 4 overs
• Final: First 6 overs

Extras & Dismissals

• Wides and No-Balls as per international rules
• Byes, leg byes, overthrows allowed
• Runner allowed only if player is injured during the match and both captains agree

Conduct & Penalties

• No smoking or tobacco at ground
• Umpire’s decision is final - no arguments
• Foul language:
  • 1st time: 5-run penalty
  • Further: 10-run penalties
• Umpires can reduce overs for late starts

Awards (decided as per cricheroes)

• Man of the Match (both captains of the match can override cricheroes result)
• Player of the Tournament
• Best Batsman
• Best Bowler
• Winning Team
