Match Rules and Regulations and way forward:

1. 07 players each side and All 7 players can play the match for batting by giving retired hurt, until FOW of 5, there will be no single batting allowed (Impact player option can be used for bowling and batting) - Five players will be on field (1 bowler, 1 keeper and 3 fielders ) and fielders cannot field behind the bowler wickets line.

2. 10 overs match per innings.

3. In single match, New ball would be used for each inning.

4. Each team to use minimum 4 bowlers (max 3 overs for 2 players and Max 2 overs for the rest)... Throw bowlers can only bowl Max 2 overs.

5. Bowler should declare from which side he is bowling every over, if not declared then NO BALL will be given.

6. Batsmen hitting the ball directly outside the box is declared as OUT and captured as Hit wicket.

7. Full Toss ball above batsman’s waist height would be considered NO BALL. Unattempt full toss ball hitting the stumps is considered as a valid ball i.e. OUT and If batsman is charging and is outside the crease then shoulder height will be considered as NO BALL.

8. Bowler’s feet should not cross front and side lines of the bowling crease even one feet on sideline is considered as No Ball, Side lines also applies if bowler is bowling behind the crease line.

NO BALL will be given if above crease rules not followed.

9. Ball outside batting crease offside line is a WIDE BALL. Ball pitch in stumps line and spin beyond offside line will also be considered as WIDE BALL, same applies for leg side as well.

10. Ball bouncing on side nets, lights, and other object inside the net or ground and then reaching boundary line is considered FOUR runs and from sides as single.

11. Ball bouncing back from wall pillars or poles causing casualty would be batsman/runners luck / risk.

12. Winning team would be awarded 2 points, In case of draw, Super over will be played to decide the winner, if still draw then bowl out is applicable till one of the team gathers 2 points higher margin.

13. Run rate would play crucial role in identifying the top teams for qualifiers (All 7 players to be selected as playing 7 irrespective players are playing or not). If points and NNR are same for two team. Least number of fallen wickets team will qualify. If that also same, toss will be there for qualification.

14. Fielder while fielding if touch boundary net after receiving the ball then it is declared as four or six(If it is a No Ball).

15. Umpire decision is final. 1 REVIEW per innings per side (Successfully reviews will continue the count), only umpire can review video for double checking.

16. By-Runners decision will be by opposite team captain.

17. Player can give self-retire hurt without injury or player retired due to injury, can only come back to bat only as last wicket.

18. Match to start within 15 mins of the scheduled time. If any player is short. He can join during the match.. If min 4 players from the team are not present in the ground as per scheduled time, then the Team available in the ground will be declared as winners.

Eg. Match scheduled time is 7pm, Team A is present in the ground at 7 pm and Team B is not available with min 4 players in the ground by 7.15PM then Team A will be declared as Winners.

19. Captain will only discuss with umpire for any disagreement of decision... others players should not approach umpire.

20. Any misbehaviour or rude remarks by captain or team members during matches will have to face immediate disciplinary action from other Captains and organisers and the decision cannot be contested later.

No aggression to be shown on umpires, captains to go for review if any difference of opinion...

First warning will be a verbal warning to the player and captain.

Second warning will be 5 runs as penalty and player will be suspended for the match.

Any player showing aggression for third time, then the player will be suspended for the tournament and the same team captain will not be eligible for being captain next season.

21. DLS is only after 14 overs... Only reschedule the match if the overall halt time is more than 1 hour with same scoring and umpires + organisers will decide the rain factor/other factors and rematch is decided by organiser on reserved day with continued score.. same squad only to be play.

22. If any team is short of players, they can only take unsold players for filling the position, If there is a clash in the same between captains, Unsold players will decide where to play.

23. If any team proves that a certain individual or team is involved in match fixing, All Captains and organisers will take strict action against the individual or the team accused.

24. Organisers & volunteers will be filling the positions of Umpires and support staff, however other captains/players should be part of Umpiring and support staff as back up.

25. Overthrows are applicable but if ball hits boundary it's not declared as 4 , batsman have to run for the RUNS till the ball is dead.

26. Matches can be rescheduled only if the opponent captain agrees and that match should be completed in the weekday before next Friday midnight, Organisers are not responsible for the any further reschedule and difference in the captains for the rescheduled match timings.. If the match is not completed by next Friday Midnight then 0 points will be declared to both the teams for that match.

Eg: Team A VS Team B match is scheduled on 30th Nov 2024, if both team captains decide to reschedule the match, then the same match should be played on or before 6th Dec 2024 Midnight, if not then the match is abandoned and 0 points will be considered for both the teams.

Rescheduled Timing to be shared with the organisers and the 15 mins rule will be applicable to show up at the ground for both the teams, else opponents who are available at the ground will be declared as winners.

27.If ball falls outside with one step inside the ground and touching the fence then it is declared as 1 Run if it from side fence and back fence of batsman, if it is from the boundary line then it is declared by boundary

28.Hand should swing (arm rotation ) while bowling.

29. All International Cricket rule are applicable for dismissing the Batsmen and other rules pertaining to the Game, unless mentioned here.

30. Any new rule to be implemented during the tournament should have votes from majority of captains and organisers only.

31. Prize category for the tournament.

A. Player of the Match (decided by Cricheros App)
* Every match Medal/Trophy will be given.

B. Player of the series (decided by Cricheros App)

C. Best Batsman (decided by Cricheros App)

D. Best Bowler (decided by Cricheros App)

E. Emerging star of the tournament. Award to be given for best player amongst players who joined for the first time.

F. Winner trophy

G. Runner up trophy

32. Winner & Runner captain of current tournament will be as Captains for the next Season, remaining Captains will be picked by the Chit system through Nominations received from the players, only rule applicable is the players should have played at least 2 tournaments in JSB.

34. All No balls are considered as Free hit.

35. Teams playing the first Match in Morning/Evening, should collect the KIT from Organiser or B Block Maintenance Room and last match winning team captain responsibility is to return the set KIT back to the organisers or place it in maintenance room.

36. 1 bouncer above the shoulder level will be 1st warming and then the 2nd bouncer above the shoulder level is considered as No ball.

37. Dead ball will be declared if wickets/bails are dislodged during ball delivery by bowler.

38. Ball landing outside the pitch is no ball, on the line is not a NO Ball.
