? Al Raiqa Group – Cricket Tournament Rules ?
Organized by Al Raiqa Group
1. Each match will be 8 overs per side.
2. Maximum 2 overs can be bowled by 3 players. Remaining bowlers may bowl 1 over
each.
3. All teams must report at least 20 minutes before their scheduled match time.
4. Byes and overthrows will count in the scoring.
5. LBW is not included in this tournament.
6. A no-ball will result in a free hit.
7. Only 1 legal bouncer per over is allowed. Any extra will be called wide or no-ball.
8. Umpire’s decision is final and must be respected.
9. On the fall of a wicket, the new batsman takes strike (no crossing).
10. No powerplay in this tournament.
11. In case of a tie, a Super Over will be played. If still unresolved, the winner will be
decided by a coin toss.
12. Management’s decision is final. No arguments will be entertained.
13. Only genuine injury retired hurt will be accepted.
14. All players must be from Al Raiqa Group only.
15. All matches must start and finish on time.
16. Team captains are responsible for managing their players and ensuring discipline
throughout the tournament.
