T20 Cricket Tournament Rules & Regulations

Entry Fee: 6000 per team

Players Allowed per Team: Maximum 18 (11 playing + 7 reserves)

General Guidelines:

1. Match Format: All matches will follow ICC T20 format (20 overs per side).

2. Overs: Each innings will consist of 20 overs, with each bowler allowed a maximum of 4 overs.

3. Team Composition:

 Maximum of 18 players can be registered per team.

 Playing XI to be submitted 30 minutes before match start.

Substitution only as per ICC rules (no batting/bowling for substitutes).

4. Ball Type: Standard white cricket ball to be used.

5. Attire: All teams must wear proper colored uniforms.

Tournament Format:

 Knockout / League-cum-knockout (To be finalized and communicated before fixtures are drawn).

 In case of tie in knockout matches, Super Over will decide the winner.

 In case of rain:

 Minimum 5 overs must be played by both teams to constitute a match.

If rain interrupts, Duckworth-Lewis method may be applied (if resources available), else coin toss in unavoidable circumstances.

Match Rules:

1. Toss: To be held 15 minutes before the match start time.

2. Powerplays:

 First 6 overs “ maximum 2 fielders outside the 30-yard circle.

 After 6 overs “ maximum 5 fielders outside allowed.

3. No Ball Rules:

 Front foot no-ball = free hit

 Above waist full toss = no-ball + warning

 2 beamers = ban from bowling in that match

4. Timed Out Rule: New batsman must be ready within 90 seconds of wicket fall.

5. Code of Conduct:

 Abusive language, dissent, or fights = warning or suspension

 Only captain is allowed to speak to umpire for any queries.

Umpiring & Scoring:

 Umpires decisions are final and binding.

 No arguments or protest will be entertained on-field decisions.

Manual or digital scoring will be maintained.

 Team captains must sign the score sheet post match.

Disqualification / Walkover:

Teams arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit the match.

Any team found with unregistered or ineligible players will be disqualified.

Other Rules:

 Teams must clear the entry fee of ₹6000 before the first match.

 Organizers hold the right to modify schedule or rules in special cases.

 All players play at their own risk. Organizers not responsible for injuries or loss.
