This Monday will Championship Day at Melbourne Oval. Powered by the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) and proudly sponsored by First Global Bank, it promises to be an action packed day of T20 Cricket with some of Jamaica’s future stars blending fast-paced cricket with raw passion and school pride.

At 9:30AM — 3rd Place Playoff:

St. Jago High vs Jamaica College

Two proud cricketing schools with a rich legacy face off for the bronze medal and bragging rights. Expect intensity, passion, and some serious shot-making as both teams look to end their campaign with a win.

At 1:30PM — The Grand Final:

Excelsior High vs Kingston College

This is the big one! The final showdown features two giants of schoolboy cricket—Excelsior, arguably the best school boy Cricket team in Jamaica for the last three years against Kingston College, coming off a major high after recently winning their 35th Champs title.

KC is also on the verge of celebrating their 100th anniversary in April 2025, and cricket title today would add yet another jewel to their crown in what’s shaping up to be a historic year. 

Excelsior however are focused on winning the treble and will provide a stiff test for their opponent.
