Team compositions will be adjusted on match day based on availabilities.
Tournament Rules:
- 20 overs each side.
- 1 bowler max 3 overs. If we have less count, we can decide on a matchday on # overs per bowler.
- Players playing on both sides can bowl a maximum of 2 overs on each side.
- No batsman to play more than 25 balls unless he is the last batsman.
- Player playing both sides can bat a maximum of 20 balls unless he is the last batsman.
- Free hit only for overstepping.
- No mixing up of internal tournaments with external tournament preparation.
- The team combination can change on match day depending on the availability of players. Captains will adjust and achieve balance.
Power Surge:
- The 6 overs power play will split into 4 overs and 2 overs. The first 4 overs of the innings will be power play by default.
- The next 2 overs of power play are called power surge which can be chosen by the batting team at any time until the 13th over.
- If the batting team doesn't choose power surge ,the 14th and 15th over will be enforced as power surge overs.
- Power Surge can't be used/will not be applicable between 16-20 overs.
Super 5:
- The captains will identify 5 players called Super5 for every match. They will be the top 5 in batting order.
- Captains will declare Super5 during toss time.
- Super5 combination cannot repeat until all players have been tried in that bucket.
- Players in Super5 cannot repeat back-to-back games.
- Same Super5 combination cannot be used more than once in the tourney.
- The batting order within the Super5 is the captain's choice.
- One time/ad hoc joiners cannot be a part of Super5.
- Super5 rule is applicable for the first 4 games. The 5th game is the captain’s choice.
- Captains should pick the Super5 wisely considering his team's overall batting profile.
- No exception for Captains on the Super5 rule.
Points based Tournament rules:
Match 1 - 1 point
Match 2 - 2 points
Matches 3, 4, 5 - 3 points
Total points for series - 12 points (1+2+3+3+3)
Whoever reaches 6.5 points(or above) first will win the series
