We are excited to announce the **TBR CHAMPIONS Cricket Tournament** for our office staff! The tournament will be played at **Chitrakoot Ground** in an **underarm box cricket format** using a **medium tennis ball** on a **square-shaped turf ground**.

## **Tournament Details:**  

- **? Venue:** Chitrakoot Ground  

- **? Format:** Underarm Turf Box Cricket  

- **? Teams:** 4 Teams (8-9 players per team)  

- **⏳ Match Duration:** 5 overs per innings  

- **⏲️ Total Ground Time:** 3 hours  

## **? Rules & Regulations**  

### **? Bowling Rules:**  

- **Each match is 5 overs per team.**  

- **Only one bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs.**  

- The remaining 3 overs **must be bowled by 3 different bowlers** (1 over each).  

### **? Batting Rules:**  

- **Powerplay:** Only **first 1 over** – Maximum **3 fielders** allowed outside the inner circle.  

- **7 players will bat per innings** to maintain a fast-paced game.

## **⚖️ General Match Rules:**  

1. **Wide Ball:** Any ball bowled outside the marked wide line will be considered a **wide** and will result in **1 extra run + an extra ball**.  

2. **No Ball Rules:**  

   - **Line No Ball:** If the bowler oversteps the marked crease, it will be a **No Ball**.  

   - **Full Toss No Ball:** Any **chest-high full toss** (without bouncing) will be a **No Ball**.  

   - **Result of No Ball:** The batting team will get **1 extra run** and a **free hit** (batsman cannot be out except run-out).  

3. **Byes & Overthrows:**  

   - **No Byes:** Runs will only be awarded for valid shots. No runs for missed balls unless edged.  

   - **No Overthrows:** Overthrows will **not result in extra runs** to maintain fairness in the small playing area.  

4. **Catch Out Rules:**  

   - **Direct Catch:** Any ball caught directly by a fielder is **out**.  

   - **Turf Touch Catch:** If the ball touches the **roof/turf** and is caught, the batsman is **out**.  

5. **Run-Outs:** Standard cricket **run-out** rules apply.  

6. **Umpire’s Decision is Final:** Any dispute will be resolved by the **umpire**, and their **decision is final**.
