*MIB BOX Cricket Tournament RULES & REGULATIONS* 

1. *Match format:* 8 overs, 9 players a side.  

2. *Over per bowler limit:* Each bowler can bowl max 2 Overs.

3. There is no limit with bowling speed until unless there is no throw in action.

a. Any throw balling objection can be claimed by Batsman. Both Umpire will make decision after 1st warning.

b. In case there is inability to bowl with rule, then Bowler must bowl standing without moving/stepping his feet.

4. *Wide & No ball rules:* 

a. Run for Wide & No ball will be counted. 

b. Overstep by Bowler & Ball above stumps will be considered as No Ball. Umpire will make decision.

c. There will be free Hit after No Ball where run out will be considered.

5. Leg Bye & Bye runs will not be counted.

6. Overthrow runs should take by running between wicket only ,toching boundry will not count as four 

7. LBW Out is not allowed.

8. Wicket keeper is mandatory.

9. Throw bowling is not allowed. Decision will be taken by the umpire.

10. *Boundaries:*

a) Any shot touching side net and reaching boundary will be considered as Four.

b) Any hit touching upper Net & direct touch to boundary Net will be considered as Six.

c) Rest normal rule for Four or Six

11. Catch will not be considered if any hit touches net caught by fielder. 

12. First two Over will played as power play with 7 player ,where 3 player will be on boundary.

13. In case of Tie, Super Over will be played.

14. Ball going out from side net or roof net can have maximum 2 runs but Batsman has to run for it & in between run out for same will be considered Out. 

15. *Admin Rules:* 

a. All players must report at venue 30 minutes before game start. 

b. If the full team doesn’t report 10 minutes prior to the official start time, the opposite team will be awarded as winners. 

c. Games will be postponed in case of rain or any other hindrance.

d. Umpire decisions are final & irrevocable. 

e. Matches will be played with single layer tennis ball; players are requested to come in sportswear. 

f. It is team responsibility to have their Bat which can be wooden or plastic 

g. All players are expected to be courteous to each other and with the Umpires.

h. Request to no litter on Ground and adjacent areas. 

i. Please carry water bottles.

J. One player can play from only one team

K. Playing 9 only allowed for batting reserve player can do only fielding
