SPL Cricket Tournament Rules :-
1) Each Team will have 11 Main players with 2 extra players.
( These extra players can be anytime substituted according the the teams requirements )
2) A Bowler Cannot bowl more than 2 overs in a innings.
3) There will be 8 over in a innings.
4) No LBW
5) Byes Runs will be given
6) Overthrows runs will be given .
7) Ball bowled above the waist by bowler and if Overstepping Crease is done by bowler then in these conditions it will be given No ball.
In case :
( No ball = +1 runs & Free hit will be given , Run out can be still done ), if no ball is followed by another no ball or wide, free hit will continue for next ball, & No Ball above the waist will be decided by the leg umpire by considering the batsman initial stance .
( If Above the waist ball hits the stumps it will be not out )

( In one over maximum 2 bouncers can be bowled , 3rd bouncer of the over will be given No ball )

Wide Ball = +1 Runs will be given. ( On the line will be wide )

Dead Ball will be not counted and bowler has to bowl one more time this ball.
( Dead ball will be decided by umpire )
8) No powerplay
9) In case of tie - Superover will be played , in case superover ties , Ball-out will be played.

10) All 6 Teams will play 5 matches with all other teams.
After this,
The Top 4 teams of the points table will qualify.
( The bottom 2 teams of points table will be eliminated )

11) The Top 2 teams of the table will play Qualifier 1 .
Winner of Q1 will qualify to Finals .

12) The 3rd And 4th Team of the table will play Eliminater 1 , and the looser team will be eliminated .

13) Winner of E1 will play , Qualifier 2 with the looser team of Qualifier 1 .

14) Finals ? will be between Winner of Q1 and Q2 .
( This match will have 10 over in one innings )

15) First umpire has the power to discuss with Leg umpire and modify his initial call / decision.
( The final decision will only be made upon mutual consent from both umpires & all players have to accept this final decision without argument ) .

Rules For Teams And Players :-
1) Teams are expected and required to report to the ground twenty minutes prior to the scheduled start time of their match.
( With all team players ).

2) If any team fails to follow point 1 rule ?.
Immediately after 1 minute of the scheduled Start time of the match , The team present on the Pitch will be declared as the Winner of that match .

3) The University and its administrators have made it clear to us that any form of conflict or fighting on the ground would result in the tournament's instant termination and that the participating students in fight will face harsh consequences.
So , to avoid this situation we have decided, there will be no dirty sledging in the tournament and if any player will do so , that player will be immediately suspended from that match and captain has to substitute that player with extras player immediately.
( Healthy Sledging is Allowed, which will be decided by umpires)
( Opponent Team Captain & The playing Batsman can Appeal for sledging to umpires and the both umpires present on the pitch will decide and give their decision ) .
( If any player will indulge in any kind of fight , the player will be immediately terminated from the tournament ) .

4) After the Bowl reaches to the bowler , the fielding team will start maintaining silence before the beginning of bowler’s runner up , so that batsmen can focus .

5) All the students who are coming to support their year teams and favourite teams will only stay in stands and the players will make sure that no supporters will come inside or backside of the Ground.
( All supporters should maintain cleanliness in the stand )

6) Refreshments and Eatable items Will Be Only eaten outside ground , only juices , water and liquid items are allowed drink inside ground.

7) No team will throw any kind of garbage inside the ground.
