CHAMPIONS TROPHY BOX CRICKET TOURNAMENT SESSION1
Rules & Regulations (16.03.2025)
1. Match format: 6 teams, 6 overs, 9 players a side.
2. Over per bowler limit: only 1 bowler can bowl max 2 Overs.
3. Wide and no ball rules:
a. Ball Not Counted, and 1 run penalty to the team.
b. Extra speed will be counted as no ball, 1 run penalty.
c. Full toss above waist is a no-ball, 1 runs penalty.
4. More than one step is not allowed. In this case decision will be taken by the umpire.
5. Boundaries:
a. Two: Beyond marked all side fences.
b. Four & Sixes: Only straight. (As per marking)
c. No Over throws and by runs.
6. Fielding Rules:
a. Wicket keeper is mandatory
b. Catches: Direct catches, for roof net rebounds ball in play and it will be considered as a catch.
7. Out: All outs as per cricket rules no LBW outs.
8. In case of Tie, Super Over will be played.
9. Organizer Rules:
a. All players must report at venue before game start.
b. If the full team doesn’t report prior to the official start time, after five minutes grace time the match will commence as per the count of players present at that moment.
c. Games will be postponed in case of rain.
d. Umpire decisions are final & irrevocable.
e. Matches will be played with i10 ball,(Will be provided) players are requested to come in proper Uniform and shoes.
f. All players are expected to be courteous to each other and with the officials.
g. Waste of time in between matches will lead to five run penalty. (Six over must be completed within 10 minutes, it’s a responsibility of batting and bowling both team).
h. Arguments with umpire will lead to five run penalty or player/team disqualification. This will be strictly followed.
i. Scoring will be conducted through “CRICHEROES” app.
j. Prize will be given as per the decision of committee.
10. PRIZES:
• Individual prizes for all the players playing in the final and Medals for 3rd place individual players.
• Man of the match for every match.
• Player of the tournament.
• Best Batsman and Best Bowler.
Note:• In any case, Committee reserves the right to change any rules and decision.
•No protest shall be entertained as the decision of the Umpire and the organizer is final.
