Rules & Regulations for (the empire Trophy)
1. Team Composition:
*Each team must have 8 players on the field.
*A maximum of 2 substitute players is allowed.
*1 in-fact player role is permitted (a non-playing member who can assist the team strategically).
*Each team must have a Captain & Vice-Captain who will take decisions on behalf of the team.
2. Match Format:
All matches will be 5-over games.
*One innings should be completed in 12 1 mins
*In case of a tie, a Super Over will decide the winner.
3. Batting & Bowling Rules:
*Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 1 over per match.
*Powerplay will be first 2 overs with only 2 fielders outside the inner circle.
4. Speed Limit Rule for Bowlers:
*The maximum bowling speed allowed is 76 km/h.
*If a bowler delivers a ball over 76 km/h, it will be called a No Ball and must be re-bowled.
*There is NO Free Hit for speed limit No Balls, only a re-ball will be given.
5. Free Hit Rules:
*Free Hit is given for:
*Overstepping No Balls (Front-foot No Ball).
*High full toss (above waist height).
*Fielding restriction violations.
No Free Hit for:
*Speed limit violations (balls bowled over 76 km/h).
6. Player Substitutions:
*Substitutes can replace a player only with the knowledge umpire’s approval.
*Once a player is substituted, he cannot return to the match.
7. Discipline & Fair Play:
*Any form of cheating, sledging, or misconduct will lead to penalties or disqualification.
*Players must adhere to time restrictions; delays may result in penalties or loss of overs.
*Umpire’s and comittee decision is final and must be respected.
*For Team Registration 1000 advance must be paid to the committee
