GAME RULES

GENERAL RULES

Each team is allowed to have a maximum of SEVEN players, including an
"impact sub" - only SIX players can play.
Each match will consist of FIVE overs per inning, each over with FIVE balls.
One bowler is allowed to bowl ONE over only.
All standard cricket rules apply, except Leg Before Wicket (LBW).
Umpires will be from the organizing committee and their decisions will be final.
The matches will be played with light tennis balls and each innings of a match will begin with a new ball.
GROUP STAGE
Each group will consist of FOUR teams.
Each team will play ONE match against every other team in their group, resulting in a total of THREE matches per team.
Each team will be awarded TWO points for a win and ZERO points for a loss.
SEMIFINALS
The top team from each group will be determined by their total points and will advance to the semifinals.
If multiple teams have the same number of points, Net Run Rate (NRR) will be used to determine the top team.
There will be TWO semifinal matches between the FOUR qualified teams, which will follow the standard rules.
FINALS
The winning team from each semifinal will face off in the finals.
The winning team in the finals will receive a team trophy.
The runner-up team in the finals will receive a team trophy.
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of tournament will receive an individual trophy.
OTHER DETAILS
Food (veg/non-veg biryani) will be available for purchase at an extra cost (75
SEK per person).
All scoring will be on using the Cric Heroes app, ensuring transparency and fairness - there will not be any manual interventions.
