Tournament Rules

1. Team Arrival & Penalty

• Each team must be present on the field 10 minutes before the match start time.

• If a team is late, one over per 5-minute delay will be deducted from their batting innings.

2. Match Format

• Each match will consist of 10 overs per side.

• Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs.

• A batsman must retire at 40 runs but may return if all other batsmen are out.

3. Batting & Bowling Rules

• No LBW decisions will be given.

• Leg byes and all other extras (wides, no-balls, byes, etc.) are allowed.

4. Umpiring & Decision Making

• The umpire’s decision is final and cannot be challenged.

• Players must respect the umpire and maintain sportsmanship at all times.

5. Fielding & Player Conduct

• A minimum of 11 players is required to start a match.

• Fielders must not obstruct batsmen intentionally.

• Any misbehavior with the umpire or opponents will result in warnings, penalties, or disqualification.

6. Powerplay Rules

• The first 2 overs will be a mandatory powerplay, allowing only 2 fielders outside the 30-yard circle.

• After the powerplay, a maximum of 5 fielders can be positioned outside the 30-yard circle.

7. Tournament Management & Rankings

• The tournament score sheet, points table, and leaderboard will be managed using the CricHeroes app.

• The top two teams will be determined based on data from the CricHeroes app.

• The decision for Player of the Tournament, Man of the Match, Best Bowler, and Best Batsman will be based on performance data from the CricHeroes app.
