Summary of the Tournament – IMS PL 25
Overview:
• Total Teams: 15 Men’s Teams & 2 Women’s Teams
• Tournament Duration: 8th March 2025 – 6th April 2025
• Stages: League Stage and Knockout Stage
League Stage:
Duration: 8th March 2025 – 22nd March 2025
• In the League Stage, each of the 15 teams will play 2 matches against random opponents.
• The results of these matches will determine the Points Table, ranking the teams from 1st to 13th.
• At the conclusion of the League Stage, the top 8 teamsfrom the Points Table will advance to the Knockout Stage.
Knockout Stage:
Duration: 29th March 2025 – 06th April 2025
A Special Draw will be Conducted on 24th March 2025 upon the conclusion of the League Stage to determine Knockout Structure.
Quarterfinals:
• The Quarter-Final teams will be drawn based on their seeding from the League Stage Point Table:
o Pot 1: 1st to 4th Ranked Teams from the league stage points table.
o Pot 2: 5th to 8th Ranked Teams from the league stage points table.
• A random draw will pair one team from Pot 1 against one team from Pot 2.
• The winners of the Quarterfinals will advance to the Semi-Finals.
Semi-Finals and Finals:
• The winners of the Quarterfinals will play in the Semi-Finals and both the Semi-Final matches will be played on the same day, 5th Apr 2025.
• Both the Men’s and Women’s Finals will be played on 6th Ap 2025.
