? PSL-2 (Turf Cricket Tournament) Rules & Regulations ?

Welcome to PSL-2! To ensure a fair and exciting tournament, please follow these rules:

1️⃣ Match Format

Each innings will have 4 overs (group matches).

Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 1 over.

2️⃣ Bowling Restrictions

? Fast bowling & side-arm bowling are strictly prohibited.

First violation = Warning ⚠️

Repeat violation = No-ball + Banned from bowling in that match ❌

? No-Ball Rules:

✅ Overstepping – Front foot must be behind the popping crease.

✅ Full Toss Above Waist – If a ball is above the batter's waist (in a normal stance), it’s a no-ball.

✅ Breaking the Stumps Before Delivery – Results in a no-ball.

✅ Short-Pitched Balls – Excessive bouncers will be called a no-ball.

3️⃣ Dress Code

Players must wear the team jersey, track pants & sports shoes.

No proper attire = No game ❌

4️⃣ Code of Conduct

Maintain sportsmanship & respect officials.

Misconduct or foul language = Penalties.

5️⃣ Match Timings

Teams must report on time.

Late arrivals = Over deduction or disqualification.

6️⃣ Player Rules

11 players + 1 substitute per team.

Once submitted, playing XI + 1 substitute list is final.

*NO OUTSIDE PLAYER ALLOWED SPECIALLY SPL PLAYERS, PLAY WITH YOUR REGULAR TEAM

7️⃣ Substitutions

Only 1 substitution allowed (with prior approval).

8️⃣ Umpire’s Decision

The umpire’s call is final. No arguments!

9️⃣ Disputes

Any disputes must be reported to the tournament committee immediately.

By participating, all teams agree to follow these rules. Non-compliance may lead to disqualification.
