We at Sportsman Spirit, are glad to welcome you and your esteemed cricket team in our Inaugural “Spirit of Cricket" T30 Cricket League, which will begin from 8th February 2025. 

The basic rules of the tournament are as follows.

1. The Tournament will be played between 8 Teams.
2. There will be 2 groups, each group consisting of 4 teams.
3. Each team will have 3 league matches and 1 Final
4. Each team will have a chance to play The Finals. Based on the performance in the league stages the teams will be categorized in 4 different plates. 
5. The tournament will be in Normal T30 overs format, with 8 overs of powerplay.
6. Bowlers will have 6 overs limit.
7. Each team will have 2 super subs per match, increasing the chance of more players to contribute for their team and teams can make their own strategies based on the strengths of their team members.
8. Current Second Division Players are not allowed to participate in the tournament.
9. Current First Division Players and those who have been a part of any First Division Team as a player in any capacity in last 2 seasons prior to the current season i.e. 2024-25, are not allowed to participate in the tournament.
10. Bowlers with suspicious or illegal action (chucking) according to ICC cricket rules, will not be allowed. On field umpires will have the final say regarding this and they have been requested to be really strict regarding this matter. 
11. Players who are of the age of 50 and above can have substitute fielders for any amount of time and it will be not be counted within the super sub count 
12. All matches will be played with Standard Red Cricket Ball.
13. Aggression and Sledging are integral part of Cricket, but Cricket is also The Gentleman’s Game, so please be a bit gentle with your Aggression and Sledging. As an incentive We have a special Award for the most well-behaved team – Spirit of Cricket Award.
14. After a match starts Umpire’s Call will be the final
15. Scoring will be done through the popular CricHeroes App, and the run rates/points in the app will be considered final unless any team breaks Point No.8 or 9 or both. 
16. Teams are requested to reach the ground on time else there will be penalty. Further on field Umpires will have the full liberty to penalise teams for Slow Over Rate.

The league stage standings will determine each team's chances of playing in the finals. Every team will be categorized in 4 different Plate Finals according to their league stage performance and hence no team goes back home empty handed.
