? Cricket Tournament Rules

The tournament will have 4 matches, including league matches and a final.
League matches will be 10 overs per side, and the final will be 12 overs per side.
In league matches, one bowler can bowl max 2 overs 
Players can be retired hurt during batting.
A ball pitching outside the mat will be called a no-ball.
During the first 2 overs, a new ball will be provided, if lost 
After 2 overs, a used ball will be used as a replacement.
If a bowler is suspected of chucking, the batsman can report it to the umpire.
After two warnings, the bowler will be replaced. If a batsman is dismissed in such a delivery, umpire shall call it a dead ball.
- If it's a clear chuck visible to the umpire, umpire can call no ball directly.
- For any kind of no ball, following ball will be free hit (where batsman can only be out in case of Run out). Stumping or other mode of dismissals don't apply on free hit.
- If 2 waist high no balls in same over, bowler can't continue the over & can't bowl any further overs in that match.
- Warning for 1st ball over head height. And second such ball in same over will be called no ball.
Runs for byes, wides, and no-balls are allowed.
Leg byes are not allowed.
Fielders can be placed without restrictions on off-side. On leg-side, max 5 players allowed (excluding bowler and WK).
Fielding restrictions (Powerplay) apply for:
First 2 overs in league matches.
First 3 overs in the final.
- Max 2 fielders outside the inner circle during Powerplay.
- After powerplay, min 4 fielders (excluding bowler & WK) should be inside inner circle before ball is delivered.
A team can have a maximum of 2 substitutes for fielding (ONLY if any player in playing 11 gets injured during the match) - consent of both captains needed. Substitutes cannot bat or bowl.
Only the captain can raise issues or concerns during the game with the umpires.
The “Last Man Standing” rule will not be applicable.
- Runner will be allowed only if batsmen gets hurt during the match 
- Player can be retired hurt, he can come back to bat after minimum of 2 overs
The umpire’s decision is final.
