Hard Tennis ball (RED color) will be used for all matches.
Over arm bowling is the standard. However, when a woman is batting, under arm bowling is allowed.
Umpire’s decision is final. Other than standard appealing, argument or unnecessary friction between teams or umpires is not allowed.
Maintain discipline though out the tournament and be respectful to the others.
Players showing excessive aggression or bad words will be disqualified from participating in the remaining matches of that team.
Teams should report to ground at least 20 minutes before the scheduled time. If a team does not show up at the ground, at the scheduled time, then the other team will be declared as winner. At least 7 members from a team should be available to start a match.
In each match, a new ball be provided for each innings of the two teams. If a ball is lost or cracked during the course of a match, another new ball shall be given to continue the match.
If a ball is cracked while it was hit across the boundary (either full or part of the ball), then run scored will be counted (6 or 4).
Each over will be of 6 balls. Maximum of one bouncer per over is allowed. Wide and no balls will have an extra ball and one extra run. For no ball, the additional ball will be a free hit.
No LBW is allowed. But extra runs are counted (e.g., leg buys, overthrow, wide, no ball etc.).
Preliminary round & quarter final & semi-final will be 8 over and final will be 10 over matches.
Each team should use a minimum of 4 bowlers (for 8 over matches) and minimum of 5 bowlers for a 10 over match. In each innings, one bowler can bowl maximum of two overs.
All players to wear their respective jersey, while playing at the ground.
There are no fielding restrictions though out the 8/10 overs of every match.
Standard T20 rules shall be applicable for any other matters.
Keep the ground clean, avoid littering. Used water bottle, plastic bags etc. to be disposed off in the correct way (use dust bin, waste collection bags etc.)
Super Over
If a match end in a draw (runs scored is equal and number of wickets lost is not considered), a superover will be allowed. The team getting the highest runs in super over is the winner.
If the super over ends with same score for both teams, who ever lost the least wickets in super over will be the winner. If both runs and wickets are equal, then winner will be decided by toss.
