SPL MATCH RULES
› Each inning during league matches will have 10 overs.
› 2bowlerscanbowlmaximum3overs-andthatmustbethe9thand10thoverofthe match.
› All 8 players will play the matches (both batting and fielding) and during fielding a slip is a must within a designated area (if 8 players playing, slip is not mandatory).
› Only straight boundaries will be considered 4 runs or six runs. For any other area of the field, runs will be counted only on running between wickets by batters.
› In case if the ball bounces through the overhead net, it will be counted as bounce and catching of the same will not be considered out. Similarly, bouncing in the net and then hitting boundary will be considered 4 runs and not 6 runs.
› All other rules are same as international cricket except LBW (out)
> Minimum of 5 players of a team should report by reporting time to start a match, and the same number of players actually reporting at time will be allowed to play the match.
In case people reporting are less than 5, the opposite team shall be declared winner with a walkover.
If any match is abandoned due to rain or lights off or any reason, the decision will be taken by the management board and will be shared to the owners.

› Timely entry into the ground to be ensured (last player entry will be allowed 5 minutes before the scheduled match starts subjected to prior reporting at the ground)
› Only Owner will be the representative of the team to discuss any issues with the management board.
› Every Innings will start with a new ball.
› Matches shall have all cricket rules like overthrow, leg byes etc except LBW (out).
› No switching of players is allowed on finalization of teams after Auction.
> Visitors (if any) shall sit/stand outside the playing area and players of the batting team shall always be in the dugout defined for the batting team during the match. (Plastic bat not allowed)
