OCPL Cricket ? Rules -

1. *Team Composition and Female Empowerment*

• Each team must include 2 female players in the playing XI.

• The first over, termed the “Female Power,” must be bowled by a female player and is dedicated to promoting and respecting women empowerment. ?‍??

• Wides and no-balls are not counted for female players in the first over.

• The female player cannot be dismissed in the first over, and any runs scored are bonus runs for the team. ?

*2. Match Format*

• Each match consists of 7+1 (female) overs. ?

• One over must be bowled by a female player.

• Only 2 bowlers can bowl a maximum of 2 overs.

*3. Extras*

• Extra runs such as no-balls, wides, and overthrows are applicable after the first over.

• Byes are not allowed.

*4. Team Size*

• Each team consists of 11 players, including 9 males and 2 females. ?

*5. *Umpire Decisions*

• The umpire’s decision is final and binding. ✅

*6. Tiebreaker*

• In the event of a tie, a Super Over will be played. ⚖️

• Each team gets one over, and the team with the highest runs in the Super Over wins the match. ?

*7. Field Placement*

• Fielders must be positioned as follows:

• 3 players, including the wicketkeeper, behind the stumps.

• 4 players between the two stumps.

• 3 players behind the bowler.

• 1 bowler.

*8. Player Participation*

• Each player on the team must play at least one match in the entire tournament. No player should be left out. ?
