Please find below important details for the tournament format!

 

*Sunday:*

 

- 5 games on Sunday (700am, 915am, 1130am, 215pm, 400pm) - 10 teams play every weekend

- ⁠2 pools of 7 teams each. Everyone plays everyone else within the pool. 9 weeks of league games

- ⁠no rescheduling of league games even if rain washes out the whole day

- ⁠Top 3 teams qualify for knockouts. Team finishing first in each pool qualify directly to semis. A2 vs B3 and B2 vs A3 will play quarters. Winner of A2 vs B3 will play B1 in semis and winner of B2 vs A3 will play A1 in semis. Dec 25 and Jan 1 also to have games so as to not delay. Quarters will happen on 19th Jan. Semis on 26th Jan. finals and 3rd place game on 2nd Feb

- ⁠3 trophies. Winners, Runners and 3rd place (since 14 teams)

- ⁠Highest run scorer, highest wicket taker and best wicket keeper to get special trophies

- ⁠Man of the match medals for every game

- ⁠Reserve day for semis and finals. But only one reschedule is allowed. If for 2 consecutive weeks, it rains out, the higher ranked team after group stages will be declared winners
