RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Entries limited on first cum first serve basis. So teams are requested to register at the earliest.
- Matches will be played using Vicky hard tennis ball/ or similar quality.
- Team should nominate 15-member squad and the following combinations to be maintained in the playing eleven.
o Not more than 6 players who have played in NAL Cricket team in the last 2 years. (if 6 playing no ward of staff allowed).In case of shortage of players , additonal playes can be used for fielding only(within 15 memebre squad).
o Not more than 1 ward (above 18 years) of NAL serving staff (can be vailed only if less than 6 players as per above).
- League Matches will be played to decide Quarter Final berth.
- Team positioned 1 and 2 after league stage will play for gold cup.
- Team positioned 3 and 4 aftre league stage will play for silver cup.
- League and Quarter Final matches will be played 08 overs’ a side, a maximum of 2 overs’ to be bowled by a bowler.
- Mandatory bowling power play in the first two overs
- Semifinal & final matches will be played 10 overs’ a side, a maximum of 3 overs’ to be bowled by only one bowler.
- Mandatory bowling power play in the first 3 overs.
- All kind of no ball to be awarded a free hit.
- No LBW and leg byes. All other extras applicable.
- In case of rain interruptions, winner will be decided using DLS method, subject to min of 2 overs being played in the 2nd innings, if not points will be shared.
- In case of delayed start due to rain, min super over to be played to decided winner. If playing conditions do not support for conducting a super over, points will be shared.
- Teams to report 30 minutes before scheduled match time.
- Teams should be getting their own cricket kits; cricket balls will be provided by the organizers.
- Anyone from NAL is eligible to participate (Permanent, Contract, Project Assistant, JRF/SRF, Trainees, wards of NAL Staff Serving). Outside players are not allowed.
- In case of a tied match, winner will be decided by a super over and continue until clear winner is declared.
- In any case, on field umpire’s decision will be final, in case of any queries only captains to interact with umpires.
- Man of the match, Best bowler, Best batsman, Best Fielder, Most Valuable Player, Best Dress Code, Fair play Award to be awarded.
- Matches to be played on Saturday and Sunday .
- Once registered no changes can be made in 15-member team.
- Winners , Runners up and Semi finalist of Gold cup will be awarded with trophies and medals.
- Winner and Runner of Silver cup will be awarded with Trophies and medals.
- Players are requested to play in the true spirit of the game and not to indulge in any kind of misconduct.
