(20 OVERS RED BALL TOURNAMENT)
*1) Tournament Rules and Regulation:*
1) Whites Compulsory
2) Each side will be allotted 01 hour 20 minutes to get through their 20 overs. 5 minutes break is
allocated between innings
3) ?*Each Player playing in one team only and per player playing Minimum 2matches. That players only considered knockout stage......*?
4) Total Power Play - 6 Overs (Mandatory Power Play, 2fielders only outside the 30yards circle ).
5) Minimum 5 bowlers to be used.. Maximum 4 overs per bowler.
6) Free hit allowed All no-ball.
7) Umpire Decision final, No arguments with umpires and scorer.
8) Winner will be awarded 2 points. If match die go to super over
9) Single end only
10) ? Only 11 1 playing members allowed on the ground at a time, *One Super sub allowed.*
11) Batsmen should wear helmet mandatorily.
*2) TOURNAMENT FORMAT:*
1) Each team plays the 6 leagues on the stage
2) Top 4Team will be qualify Semi finals (Points and NRR).
*3) TIE AND DRAW:*
1. ?In case of tie during league stages, *super over* applicable.
*4) MANKADING RULES:*
1. “Mankading” as per BCCI Rules umpires decision is final.
*5) RAIN AFFECTED AND BAD LIGHT RULES:*
1. In case the first innings is completed and the second innings cannot commence, points will
be shared
2. In case the first innings is completed and play is washed out before or at the end of 6 overs
in the second innings, points will be shared. In case of the second innings being washed out
after 6.0 overs, the winner will be decided on the basis of NRR *DLS METHOD .* ?
3. In case the first innings is called off before the end of 5 overs, the match will be replayed.
4. Please note, the above conditions are applicable for rain delays and bad light as well.
*a.) QUALIFIER ROUND RAIN & BAD LIGHT RULES*
1. In case first innings is interrupted before completion of 6 overs and no further play is
possible, rematch will be organized. In case first innings is interrupted after 6 overs)
and no further play possible, then teams have to share the cost of umpires, marker,
half slot fee. Rematch will be organized subsequently.
*Note: Umpires decision is final*
