Tournament Overview
• Format: Knockout-based Super Six format cricket tournament using Soft Tennis Green Balls (Sixit). All matches will be played on an AstroTurf field.
• Tournament restricted to Konkani-speaking Roman Catholics with valid visas.
• Number of Teams: 16 teams competing in a knockout format.
• Prizes: Cash prizes and trophies for the Winning Team, Runner-up, and individual awards for Best Batter, Best Bowler, MVP, and Player of the Match (awarded via Cric-Heroes app).
Match Format
1. Overs: Round 1 match will consist of 4 overs and remaining matcheswill be 3overs per team.
o Only 1 over per bowler.
o Super Over will decide any tied matches.
2. Bowling Rules:
o leg-spin, Off-spin and straight-arm bowling allowed.
o No chucking. Any suspicious action will immediately be called as a no-ball without warning.
o Bowling shall start within the box provide.
3. Fielding and Scoring:
o Singles (declared), fours, and sixes will be awarded based on boundary markings.
o No LBWs, free hits, or byes/leg byes unless the batter attempts a shot.
4. Toss and Match Start:
o Toss will take place 5 minutes before the scheduled match time.
o Teams must be ready half hour before the scheduled time.
