1. Winners will pay only 10% booking amount.
2. 2nd position will pay - 20% turf booking amount.
3. 3rd position will pay - 30% turf booking amount.
4. 4th position will pay - 40% turf booking amount.
5. Every player have to open batting in league games. If failed to do so, then team will be penalized for 14 runs=2nb 2sixes. One player can not open batting more than 2 times. One player can not open twice as striker or non striker
6. Every player have to open bowling in one league game. This rule may not apply when team is of 7 players. Please follow updated rules below.
7. Power play on 1st over - only two players at boundary. Third player outside will be counted as no ball.
7. Players will be selected in team through the auction.
8. Wide & no ball rule applies. No ball will have free hit.
9. Bowling line touch is a no ball.
10. Non Stricker batting crease is the middle line which crosses entire turf.
11. NON-DIPPING Above knee full toss ball is no ball. Second bouncer over the shoulder is wide ball. Both these call will stay with leg umpire.
12. Over throws runs counted.
13. During match, other two teams players are responsible for umpiring & their decision will be considered as final.
14. In case of no speedgun, Batsman can give warning for pace ball from bowler in an over. Second pace ball in same over will be called out by leg umpire ONLY. Batsman does not have right to call for second pace ball.
15. Pace ball call in last over of the inning will be called by umpire only. No warning will be given.
16. At the end of the league matches, top team will directly move to final. Bottom team will be eliminated directly. 2nd & 3rd position team will have eliminator match for final. Winner of this will move to play final with top position team.
17. The tournament will be played over 6 hours window. Each match is expected to finish in 25 mins.
18. In case of any unforeseen delays in timing due to teams for completion of tournament, organizers are not responsible for any compliance. In such cases, the latest point table at the end of turf booking timing will be considered for final payments.
19. In case of no speedgun,
If bowler bowls EXCESSIVE pace ball as last ball of the over to take advantage of pace ball rule, then leg umpire has complete authority to give no ball directly.
In this case, if a batsman calls the no ball or appeals for it , then it will be considered as legal delivery to avoid dominating umpire with his own feelings.
In scenario where leg umpire has a doubt, leg umpire can consult the main umpire and take the decision.
1. Any team which reports to the match 5 minutes late will be declared as lost and opposition will be declared as winner. No calls, No messages. No delays accepted as it impacts turf payments of all players.
2. If both teams are unavailable then the match will be cancelled.
3. Any unforeseen delays in matches scheduled timing will impose reduction in overs for a particular match or all the matches from that point onwards.
4. 6 players of the team should bowl first over in league games. *7th player should bowl at least 3 overs in league games.* Penalty rule applies if failed.
5. Open Batting pair rule remains the same as previous times. Every batter should open at least once or maximum of two times. Penalty rule applies if failed.
6. 68 kmph is no ball when speedgun is used.
7. If the player is unavailable for the match due to some reason, captain can start the match with short player with necessary intimation to umpire. However, to play the same match, that player has to be available within first 3 overs of the innings. Else he will not be allowed to be part of the whole match.
Boys, few updates on rules which seems to be bit favoured/needs improvement now here onwards :
1. Retire hurt/out cannot be done without injury. Even with injury, consent from the umpire is required. Let's keep the game fair.
2. If the ball goes from stumps on the leg side, it will be counted as legal delivery now onwards. No arguments with umpire.
3. Corners of boundary nets is a SIX and NOT FOUR.
