If a team has less players, the opposition captain shall pick an allrounder from the resting team so that each team is equal in number. A different player shall be picked each time.
Info on latecomers must be announced to the opposition captain & umpires before the match begins. No changes are allowed once the match begins
Umpires
3 Umpires shall be agreed upon by the 2 playing team captains. Only they will umpire during the whole match.
League matches
Round-Robin: 2 random teams, 1st match winner v other team, 1st loser v other team
8 overs/innings, max 2 overs per bowler; Finalists are decided by points & NRR
Minimum of 5 bowlers shall be used if full innings is played
First 2 overs of powerplay
Finals
12 overs/innings, max 2 bowlers can bowl 3 overs
Minimum of 6 bowlers shall be used if full innings is played
First 3 overs of powerplay
Fielding
Max 4 on the boundary, max 3 inside; rest offside(slip fielder too) or rest. There can be more than 3 inside when there are less than 4 outside. There can be a max of 7 on the legside
During powerplay: max 2 on the boundary, max 4 inside; rest offside(slip too)or rest
If there’s more players fielding in any area, batters/captains can complain to umpires in case the umpires don’t notice. It is to be considered only from the next ball. No warnings
Misc rules
There is FREE-HIT, byes & overthrows; but no leg-byes or LBW
When available, 2-3 new balls are to be used at the beginning of first match
Ball landing outside the fence is out. Also on a front foot no-ball or on a FREE-HIT. Exception: Height no-balls
Catch taken after the ball hits trees will be out. With any possible deviation, bounce, rebound
No compulsion to take guard when bowling
Front umpire’s decision is final for side wides, front-foot no-ball & wickets. Leg umpire’s decision is final for height no-ball and height wide. Only height no-ball or wicket decisions can be changed after a discussion between the 2 umpires
In case of tie, a super over is played until a result is available
Everyone except fielding team, batsmen, umpires and scorers will be outside
A batsman can retire & come back later; but only at the end of an over or fall of a wicket
In case of issues, only Captain can come to discuss with umpires(+organizers)
All 3 team players shall stay until the end of finals. If someone doesn’t , they’ll not be considered for the next tournament.
In all other scenarios, the umpire's decision is final.
