*Final set of rules for BRC Box cricket rules leagues: 8 over matches*  

*(Semifinal and final 10 overs )*

*Start Time: Matches will begin at 6:00 am sharp.Players must be present by 6:00am.Walkover will be given at 6:15*

1. You can bring up to 12 players but only 8 can bat (7 wickets) and 8 can bowl. 

2. Maximum 2 overs per bowler.

3. If you hit out of the BB court then it’s considered out and -1 deduction in the score.

4. For fielding: Only 4 can field apart from bowler

5. 2D (2runs) will be shown to the fielders on the day of match. 

6. Top 4 teams will play semifinals.

7. Scoring will be done only on cricheroes app to avoid any confusion on the run rate if needed. Ask your block players to register in the app and captain should add players to their respective teams.

8. No abusing or fighting. Umpire decision will be final. 

9. No LBW/legbyes/byes

10. No DRS ?

11. Straight through air to the other side of the BB court will be 6 and via ground is 4. Same will be applicable if the ball hits the basketball pole.

12. *If balls hits 2D first and then if it goes to boundary either via ground or air . It will be considered as 2D*

13. Direct ball over waist line will be considered as no ball resulting in 1 run ( No free hits).

14. Wides balls and no balls results in one runs addition to score.

15. Bounce over head height is a no ball. 

16. One bounce allowed per over ( ball should pass over and shoulders but below the head height of batsman ). Second bounce on over is no ball.

17. Overstepping is a No Ball that adds one extra run ( Umpires call) no free hit for any type of No ball.

18. Overthrows Enabled - Overthrows will be considered for boundary,2D and 1D( by run if ball is stuck in bushes)

(Ex. If a fielder overthrows and ball hits the boundary/2D /1D fence then it will be considered as extra(overthrow) boundary,2D,1D )

19. If match ends in a tie, then we will have a super over.

20. *No 1D - Batsmen need to run singles. Only If balls gets stuck in bushes ( prior declared 1D area) then umpire has right to stop batsmen from running more than 1 runs*

21. ⁠*In case of catch out new batsmen will take strike. ( No rule for  non-striker crossing the line)*
