JCL Edition II – Rule Book:

1. Matches will be of 14 overs per innings

a. Minimum 6 bowlers to be used

b. Only 2 bowlers can bowl 3 overs in an innings

2. There will be 2 power plays

a. First Mandatory Power Play from over number 1-3 in every innings

b. Second 2 overs power play to be called by batting team

c. Over number 13 & 14 will be mandatory power play if batting team doesn’t call for power play before the start of 13th over

3. There will be no 50/50 over rule applicable for JCL II

4. Neutral Umpire will be officiating the match – from the team that is not participating in that respective match 

a. Umpire’s decision would be final and Team’s captain to ensure no prolonged argument in any case

b. Umpire has the right to apply 2 runs penalty in case of prolonged arguments or unprofessional behaviour

5. There will be no categorization of batsmen – any player can come and bat at any given point of time in an innings

6. Rest all rules will be the same as of normal Sunday JVT cricket
