*HITACHI PREMIER LEAGUE CRICKET TOURNAMENT (TENNIS BALL)*

*RULES & REGULATIONS*

 

1. Tournament will be played as a league match with a tennis ball.

2. All 12 teams will be divided in to Four groups (A,B,C & D).

3. Each group will play with their opponent one time in the league stage.

4. Top team from each group will advance to the Semi Finals (Knock-out) followed by   the Final.

5. If teams (In each group) are with same points, then Based on run rate, best team will advanced to Semi Finals (Knock-out).

6. Teams need to be in ground before 30mins of their schedule which is compulsory, In order to start the match early if the previous match completed before scheduled time.

7. Entire (league) will be played in the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

8. For this tournament committee is decided to have 1 women employee in playing 11.

9. 1st over rules: Batting and bowling Opening by womens in each team. (Stiker should be women).

10. Womens could bowl from ¾ pitch and throw bowling is allowed.

11. Men has to play with reverse hand till 1st over complete. (If women gets out within the 1st over) and switch-hit is not allowed.

12. 2nd and 3rd Overs Power Play. (Two Fielders will be outside the 30 yards circle). 

13. After power play 4 fielders are mandatory to be inside 30-yard circle.

14. All the teams will be given 45 minutes to bowl their limited 10 overs (after 5 minutes grace time will close the 1st Innings and 2nd Innings match will continue after the 5min break). (10 runs per over will be added to opponent team ).

15. A men bowler can bowl maximum of 3 overs only and 1 over compulsory by women.

16. Maximum five fielders allowed on the leg side excluding the bowler.

17. Bi-runners are not allowed, at worst case if player is injured, player should be retired out.

18. Substitute fielder from other teams is Strictly prohibited if the team have 11 players.

19. Retired-hurt persons can play again after fall of 2 wickets.

20. If a match gets tied there will be super over (1 over match, with max runs deciding the winner with three batsman). If super over is also tied, then we will go for another super over  If again tied will be decided based on run rate.

21. LBW / Leg Bye are excluded, and Byes / Overthrow are included.

22. Wides (1 run 1 extra ball), No ball (1run 1 extra ball (free hit).

23. In anyone of team women employee is not available/absence for the match, additional 10 runs will be given which will be summed up in the total score to opponent team and they must play with only 10 players and women 1 over will be reduced for the team.

24. All teams should give their playing eleven list, 15 minutes prior to the match.

25. Neutral Umpires will be officiating for the entire tournament & their decision will be final.

26. Players should behave decently in the ground.

27. Except captains and vice captains, no one can speak with the umpires in case of any issue.

28. If the team is not ready to play at the scheduled time / or absence of minimum 8 players, opponent will be declared as winner for the match.

29. If both team is not ready to play at the scheduled time / or absence of minimum 8 players, will wait 15min and reduce the match overs as per the remaining match time.

30. Schedule will be followed strictly unless otherwise rain stops play. If rain interrupting ongoing match, (max 30mins will be waiting period for the rain to stop and will follow DLS method/Super pow Over/bowl out) points will be shared between teams during league stage matches.

31. Rescheduling the canceled matches in the League stage will be the committee's decision.

32. Late coming players are allowed only before completing 3 overs of an innings. This is applicable for the team who bowl first (Only for First Innings)

33. Dress code T-Shirts, Tracks (full) and Sports Shoes (Must for safety reason). If the dress code is not followed by the player, he will not be allowed to play the match.

34. Players dress color should not be same color of Tennis ball (i.e. yellow or light green is not permitted).

35. Scoring will be done in Cric Heroes App. Hence requesting all team captain to create their team in app and let the committee know.

36. Apart from the above all, Committee decision will be final if we come across any issue / new situation.

37. Every match man of the match will be considered.
