T10 Cricket Tournament for Kannadigas-2024
Date: 27th Sep 2024, Venue: Willams Landing Reserve
General Rules and Regulations from the Tournament panel:
1. We Kannadigas, to empower Kannada community and to encourage our
talents & games spirit & involve ourselves to be part of more Kannada
community events. so we strictly follow that all players should be Kannadigas
in playing 11 squad with exception of any one player.
Note: Throughout the tournament max of 13 players should be in any team
and names should be provided prior the tournament. Playing squad should be
from these 13 players.
2. There is no concept of impact player (12th men is not considered). In any
match only 11 players should be playing.
3. This is T10 Tournament: 10 overs in each innings and will play with Red Hard
Tennis Nivia Ball.
4. Considering the ground allocation from council and interest of time , there are
6 teams will be considered for this tournament. Detailed model fixtures will be
finalised and shared by 5th Sep 2024
5. There is Team Registration Fee is applicable to incur the cost on cricket balls
and food(lunch) will be arranged to players and their family members. Once
after registration team/captain should provide details like team name , players
name , players place ( from Karnataka) , mobile number.
Note : Wyndham Kannada Balaga is non-profit organization.
6. Lunch will be served from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm. The lunch facility is provided
by the organizers at the ground premises itself. There will not be a separate
time break for lunch. The players shall manage time to have lunch according
to their match schedule.
7. The participating team is requested to bring their own kits (Bat, gloves).
Playing balls and wickets will be provided by the organizers.
8. In case of any dispute during the match, it shall be resolved by the organizing
panel and team captains only. WKB organizing committee’s decision shall be
final in case of any issue or concerns and no objection whatsoever shall be
entertained.
9. The Organizers have the right to change/modify the rules and regulations.
10. There shall be no compulsory dress code. Kindly avoid shorts.
11. Each innings ( 10 overs must be completed within 45 minutes (5 mins Innings
break).
12. Playing Cricket rules and max over limits all be provided in Rules Book
document and it will be circulated to each team after the registration.
