HPL SEASON 1
Rules & Regulations for Men's Cricket- A player who has played in one team is not allowed to play in another team.
- This tournament would be played with Sixit Tennis ball.
- The bowler who bowls check need to bowl medium pace and He should Run way from 10 steps.
Regulations are as follows
- 6 Over's Match > 2 - 2 - 1-1 Total 4 Blowers Required (Max over's by a bowler)
- 7 Over’s Match - 2 - 2 -1 - 1 - 1 Total 5 Bowler Required (Max over’s by a bowler)
- Each innings would start with a new ball.
a. In case a ball is being lost or broken before two over's of an innings, then new ball would be
issuea.
b. If lost after two overs of an innings, old ball [used] would be issued.
- League matches would be of 6 overs & knockout matches (Qualifier1,Eliminator, Qualifier2 and Final) will be of 7 overs a side.
- Power Play:
- First 2 overs are mandatory power play.
- Only 2 players can field outside the 30 yard circle during power play over's.
- During the non power play overs minimum of 4 fielders should be present within the 30 yard circle, and 5 fielder should be out of 30 yard circle.failure to do so during a delivery of a ball would be called as a No-ball by the umpire.
- League matches - Each innings must be completed in 30 minutes and innings break is 5 minutes. Total match duration is 70 Minutes.
- On-field umpire's decision would be the final one.
- In case of a tie in the league stages each team would get 1 point each.
- In knockout matches if a tie happens Super over would be held.
- Any decision feels bad only captain and vice captain needs to speak with Committee or Umpires.
