Box Cricket Rules:

1.   Team must consist of 6 Male players and 2 Female players.

2.   The Maximum number of overs will be 8 per innings.

3.   Match will be played using Light Cricket Tennis ball.

4.   The bowling method will be Over Arm throw only for male players. Female players can choose their bowling method (Over arm or Under arm).

5.   Only Female players should open the batting innings.

6.   First 2 overs should be played completely by Female player irrespective of their wicket. If they lose both the wickets within 2 overs, they can continue batting (No negative runs) for the remaining balls.

7.   Female player should be given first 2 overs for bowling and only Female player should face the entire first 2 overs. (Maximum 2 bounce is allowed for female players).

8.  For Female players, 3 bounce before batting crease is No-ball. For Male players, 2 bounce before batting crease is No-ball.

9.   If the ball stuck in the roof of the net, it is considered a dead ball.

10.  Baby over is not allowed.

11.  A ball caught after hitting the roof or side wall is not considered as a wicket. Only direct catch is considered as wicket.

12.  Only Straight wall is considered for 4s and 6s.

13.  Ball hitting side wall or roof and touch the straight wall will be considered as 4 runs.

14.  No LBW rule, no leg bye.

15.  All other cricketing rule applies. Byes, no ball, free hit, Overthrow applies, straight wall overthrow will be considered as boundary.

16.  Any bowler can bowl maximum of 2 overs only (Female player can bowl to male player, not vice versa).

17.  If ball hitting the umpire in follow through, 2 runs will be added to batting team.

18. Bowler must throw the ball within the Box otherwise it will be considered as No ball. (Only for Men)

19. Last batsmen (Men/Women) allowed.

20. No Substitute Player allowed. Replacement player is allowed only before first Knock out match.

21.  In case of any discrepancies/concerns, Only Captains should discuss with umpire and Umpire decision is final.

22. Please report to the venue 30 minutes prior to your match timing to avoid and hassles.
