Cricket Tournament Rule :-
1. Player Eligibility and Team Composition - Each team must consist of 11 players. - A 17-player squad must be submitted before the tournament starts. -
Every player must belong to a medical college or be a paramedical professional. - Substitutes are allowed for fielding only. -
Exception: Two teams of Tibbia College staff will participate as a memento and do not need tobelong to medical or paramedical professions.
2. Match Structure - Match formats: 15 overs and 20 overs per side. - Each innings lasts for 15 or 20 overs. - The tournament will be played with a white ball.
3. Scoring Runs - Runs are scored by batsmen running between wickets. - Boundaries: - Four runs if the ball hits the boundary after bouncing. - Six runs if the ball clears the boundary without bouncing.
4. Dismissals - Methods of dismissal: Bowled, Caught, Leg Before Wicket (LBW), Run Out, Stumped, Hit Wicket.Cricket Tournament Rule BookTibbia Sports Complex, Karol Bagh, New Delhi - Other methods include: Handled the Ball, Obstructing the Field, Hit the Ball Twice, Timed Out.
5. Bowling - Each bowler can bowl a maximum of: - 3 overs in a 15-over match. - 4 overs in a 20-over match. - No ball and wide ball rules apply.
6. Fielding Restrictions - Powerplays: - 15-over match: First 4 overs. - 20-over match: First 6 overs. - Fielding restrictions during powerplays: - Maximum of 2 fielders outside the 30-yard circle. - Outside powerplays: - Maximum of 5 fielders outside the 30-yard circle.
7. Equipment and Attire - Standard cricket gear: Bat, ball, stumps, protective gear. - Player uniforms must be consistent with the team colors and regulations.

9. Match Officials - Role of umpires and match referees. - Umpires' responsibilities include making decisions on the field and ensuring fair play.
10. Match Result - Win, loss, tie, and no result criteria. - Super Over rules for tied matches.
11. Review System - Decision Review System (DRS) usage: Number of reviews allowed per team.
12. Weather and Interruptions - Rules for rain interruptions and delays. - Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method for calculating target scores in interrupted matches.
