General Rules:
1. A player can only play for one team throughout the tournament; total - 11 members per team.
2. The tournament will use a Green Vicky Tennis ball. A new ball will be provided based on the umpire’s decision.
3. Knockout matches are 5 overs per side; the final is 6 overs per side.
4. Power Play:
• 1 over powerplay in knockout matches.
• 2 overs power play in finals.
5. Knockout Over Limit:
• 5 overs: 2+1+1+1 (1 over throw, 4 overs round arm bowling).
• Maximum 2 overs per bowler; others bowl 1 over each.
• Finals 6 overs: 2+2+1+1 (1 over throw, 4 overs round arm bowling).
• Maximum 2 overs per bowler.
6. Throw bowling limited to 1 over in knockout and final matches.
7. Round arm bowling limited to 2 overs per bowler.
8. Innings time limit: 15 minutes.
9. Minimum 10 players required to start; less results in a walkover.
10. Umpire’s decision is final.
11. Captain ensures team spirit and fair play.
12. Prolonged arguments result in a walkover to the opposing team.
13. LBW and leg byes not applicable.
14. “No-balls” per ICC rules.
15. Runner allowed for injured players only.
16. Fielding restrictions per ICC guidelines.
17. Other ICC cricket rules apply.
18. Match schedule based on drawn chits.
19. Teams must adhere to drawn schedule.
20. Double elimination format.
21. Tournament for CSA alumni and current students.
22. Team: 8 Boys alumni, 2 Girls alumni (optional), 1 CSA faculty (optional).
Awards:
• CSA ALUMNI CUP 2023 Trophy and certificate for winners.
• Individual awards based on performance:
• Best Batsman: Trophy + Certificate.
• Best Bowler: Trophy + Certificate.
• Player of the Match: Match-by-match basis.
• Player of the Tournament: Trophy + Certificate.
