Tournament Rules:-
1. 8 Overs a Side.
2. Bowling Format: 2 2 2 1 1
(Min 5 bowlers have to bowl)
3. Round Arm Bowling Only.
(Chucking/Throw bowling not allowed)
NOTE: Chucking/Throw bowling will be decided by the umpires based on the batter's appeal.
4. Vicky Tennis ball is used
(Ball is Burnt for better play).
5. A New Ball is used every Match.
6. In Final's A new Ball is used every inning.
7. Umpire Decisions are final. No arguments with the umpire.
NOTE: BOWLING GUARD (As Right or Left arm) HAS TO BE INFORMED EVERY OVER TO THE UMPIRE. If not informed, no-ball will be given and free-hit will be declared.
8. Free hit is declared for the no ball.
9. No ball, Wide is declared as 1 run.
10. Only 1 bouncer is allowed in an over.
Second bouncer will be declared as a
noball / wide.
11. No runs for Byes & Leg Byes
12. Overthrow is counted for runs.
13. Wide line is Fixed. Wide line will not change if the batter moves.
14. 9 Players a side. 8 players on the field. 9 players bat.
NOTE:
9th player can be utilized anytime while Batting, Bowling and Fielding.
Once the team of 9 is selected for a particular match, only the selected 9 players can be played. Extra players cannot be used for fielding/batting/bowling.
(Team Squad can be up to 15 players only).
Fielder and keeper change have to be informed to the umpires. If not informed, No-ball will be given and free-hit will be declared.
15. If the ball is struck or went outside the nets will be declared as 1 run and batters have to cross over.
16. To save time, batters cannot retire. If he retires, he will be declared as retired Out.
17. A help-runner can be taken any time if the batter is injured/Can't run. (Taking help runner should be informed to the umpires and the opposite captain).
NOTE:- Out of 2 batters on the pitch, Only 1 help runner is allowed.
18. Play time: 55 minutes for every match. More than 55 mins, overs will be reduced accordingly.
19. 5 mins break time for every match.
20. No DRS / NRR rules for league and Final match if the match is Abondend, Time up or if it Rains. Match will be declared as "TIE".
NOTE: NRR is calculated only if the 2nd, 3rd & 4th team have same points in League Match to qualify for Semi's/Final's.
