RAKC Premier League 2024 Rules and Regulations
1)Total sixteen (16) overs match, all matches will be play with “Hard Tennis” cricket ball, and final match will be twenty (20) overs.
Power play consists of four overs; three players will be allowed outside of inner circle.
After power play, a maximum of five fielders will be allowed to field outside the inner circle.
We can use five fielders on the leg side, bowler will not consider.
Byes, leg bye & over throws are applicable.
We have to use minimum five bowlers in each match, each bowler will bowl three overs one bowler will bowl four overs.
No ball concedes to runs, but there is no “free hit”.
No-ball concedes to runs, the ball full toss above cricket stumps or above waist high will also be considered a no ball.
Wide-ball concedes to runs, a bouncer above head height to be called wide.
Two bouncing allowed an over, third bouncer will call wide.
Bowlers, it is not mandatory to tell his mode of delivery to the umpire.
If batsman will play reverse sweep, bowler can bowl in side of the wide line (offside or leg side) it will be legal delivery.
Minimum eight players to reach for toss, if any team will reach late, each 5 minutes will be reducing one over, both team will come late according to the time over will be reduced.
If a batsman is retired hurt, he can only play after the 9th wicket falls.
First match, the toss will be 05:45 AM, start of the match 06:00 AM.
Second match, the toss will be 07:45 AM, start of the match 08:00 AM.
Teams should report 15 minutes before the start of play.
Wicket keeper can bowl directly.
Playing league matches of the game ending draw, the points will be shared, playing knockout matches of the game if ending draw, there will be playing a super over, where only 3 batsman are allowed to bat, if two wickets are gone it will have considered as all out.
Transfers of players between teams are not allowed, if noticed, the team will be disqualified from the tournament, the team can choose maximum of 15(20) players, any players apart from the squad will not be entertained (Players will be from RAK Ceramics & Group Co. only)
Umpires decision will be final throughout the tournament.
Final match will be played for 20 overs, where power play will consist of 6 overs, with only 3 fielders allowed outside the inner circle, beginning of the 7th over only 5 fielders allowed outside.
Semifinal & Final will be played at RAK MALL Grass Ground, request to All the Teams to Contribute 50aed .
Wicket Keeper Need to Inform Leg-Umpire While Standing into the Stumps.
Impact Play Can Come Any Time Before the Last of the Match.
In an Unfortunate Situations (Injury etc.), Match will be resumed and will be postponed to another day. However, Match will be resumed from point where the Match Stopped. i.e. ( no New matches will be Played )
Chucky Blowing Action Umpire should check and take the call.
Each Team Captain should send a Player as an Umpire who has Knowledge in Umpiring.
A Team who Cannot Play 1st match , can Rise an valid reason , respective Teams matches will be scheduled as Second Match.
Before power play getting Finished All players Should be present, if not concern team Has to Play with available players throughout entire Match.
A Player should at least played 1 Match in League stage matches will be allowed to Play in Final Match Playing XI.
