This League is only open for current ABB associates.
If it is noticed any team is playing with non current ABB associate, then that team will be disqualified from this League
Each side can have only 11 players
League match will be of 5 overs per inning and Final match will be 6 overs per inning
No Bowler is allowed to bowl more than 2 overs in a match. So for league it will be (2 1 1 1) and for Final it will be (2 2 1 1)
If player gets stumpped / run out on no-ball that ball will be counted as a legal delivery besides 1 run for no-ball and no free hit will be available
If match is tied in league stage Super over will decide the winner and if Super over is also tied then Winner will be decided based on A) FOW or B) Toss in that order.
All Cricketing rules will be applied, except LBW. LBW will not be out.
Non playing team will nominate Umpires (If Team A and B is playing, Umpires will be from Team C and D)
If any player gets injured, he can get retired hurt, but allowed to bat at the end of the inning and if required runner can be allowed after consultation of Fielding Captain and Two umpires
In case any player gets injured and can't take part in match for some time / completely, then team can keep substitute from their pool of players
If no players is available from their pool of players then team can't have any substitute
Player can represent only one team in this APL2020
First 1 overs will be power play, in which only 2 players are allowed outside the inner circle
After Power play inner circle should have minimum 4 players excluding wicket-keeper and bowler
If the Final match is tied, Super over will be played (if time permits) to decide the Winner.
If Super over is also tied or Super over is not possible, then Wicket shoot out will happen. Each team will get 5 chances to aim at stumps, the team with maximum hit to stumps will be the winner
If there is no winner at the end of 5 chances for both the team, then knock-out Wicket shoot out will be carry out to decide the Winner
In single match, two different balls would be used for each inning. In case, the ball is lost/broken Umpires will choose ball from previous matches.
Side declaration for bowler and keeper change has to be informed to the Umpire. Failing to do that, delivery will be called as No ball and next delivery will be Free hit
While calling No ball related to the crease only frontline will be considered. Bowler's some part of foot has to be behind line. Line belongs to Umpire.
Full Toss ball above batsman's waist height would be called as NO BALL.
For every No ball next delivery will be free hit
Wide will be decided depend on the line at the crease or height of the ball while crossing the batsman
Umpire decision will be final. Fielding Captain / Batting Captain can consult the on field Umpires if he has any point regarding the Umpires decision.
No Rude behavior is allowed, necessary action will be taken
If bat gets damaged while batting then Batting team will contribute for new bat
Mankading is allowed, after 1st warning
Two points will be allotted to Winning team
If points are tied, then winner will be decided based on A) NRR, B) FOW or C) Toss
Match to start within 10 mins of allocated time. If any team does not have sufficient players to start the match, they have to start the match with available number of players and can induct additional player till end of 1st over of 1st batting side. Post that, they have to continue match with the same number of players who was available at end of 1st over of 1st batting side.
Run rate would play crucial role in identifying Finalist teams.
Captain will only discuss with umpire for any disagreement of decision... others players should not approach umpire.
If any team proves that a certain individual or team is involved in match fixing, All Captains and Organization committee will discuss possible course of action.
