*Rules* 

Lords Under 14 tournament


This tournament shall be known as Lords Under 14 cup

Cut of date for boys shall be 1/9/2010 and girls shall be 1/9/2008.

All league matches shall be played for *20 overs* a side and *knockout matches shall be for 30 overs a side*.

Late beginning of matches shall result in reduction of overs.

D/L method shall be followed to decide the winner in an incomplete match.
D/L method shall come into use after the completion of the 5th over of the second innings. In case of an undecided match ie, a match unable to complete at least the 5 th over of the second innings, points shall be shared by each team equally.

In case of loss of ball or unplayable condition of the ball the umpires can change the ball after informing the captains of both sides.
A total of 4 teams shall enter into the semifinals based on points in group matches. If any two or more teams secure same points, NRR shall be used to dicide the qualified team 

All players must wear white upper and lower. *The matches shall be in red ball.*

?Reporting time and match starting time shall be as per given in fixture

All teams should carry their full cricketing gears

 *No player shall be allowed to play without their protective gears*
First 6 overs of each innings shall be power play*. A maximum of *2 players* is allowed outside 30 yard during the power plays.

 Apart from the playing XI, *two players may be listed as substitutes*. *One of the two substitutes can be used as super sub. The super sub can bat/ bowl*. The replaced player can't take part in the further proceedings of the match. The captain should inform the umpires before the change

The Tournament committee has the liberty to amend any rules or fixture without any prior notice 

 The winner of a match shall get 2 points. In case of a tie, a super over shall be played to break the tie

All no balls shall be followed by a free hit. No field change is allowed for a free hit if there is no change of batter.
