*Rules and Regulations for Gents*
1) Team will be containing 8 Players each. (7 PLAYING & 1 PLAYER IN DUG OUT<THIS PLAYER CANNOT
BE REPEATED TO SIT OUT IN OTHER LEAGUE MATCHES>)
2) One Innings will consist of 6 Overs each. *
*(4balls in 1 over) *
3) 6 bowlers will bowl 1 over each and non-bowling player will open the inning.
4) Only 3rd Over compulsory Power Play.
*(Each run will be counted as double, but if wicket taken then runs will not be double) *
5) If the ball is shot directing in the HOME RUN<TITLE SPONSOR> than super runs i.e. 8 runs*
6) Net run rate will be calculated by runs divide by balls. If same N.R.R. than wickets will be counted. If same wickets than
toss will decide the winner. <league matches only>
7) Ball hitting the UPPER SIDE of the net and collected directly by fielder will be considered out. *
8) No ball only if the ball pitches before the centre line <from the bowler’s end>.
9) Wide ball if the bowl passes outside the wide line.
10) 01 run each will be counted for no ball and wide ball.
11) Fast ball will be given warning 1 time and henceforth will be considered no ball in that over.
12) If in case of TIE 1St priority will be less wickets, if same than decision will be made by toss in league matches
< super over of 2 overs in S/F AND FINAL>. *
13) Umpires Decision will be the final decision and no arguments will be entertained with umpires else 5 runs will
be deducted each time from that inning. which will be team owner’s responsibility.
14) In case of no decision by umpire than management will take neutral decision.
15) LBW rule is not valid in APL 2020.
16) S/F and FINAL might be of 6/8 overs depending on time schedule. decision will be in the hands of management.
17) Toss of next match will be done before the start of second inning of that current match.
18) All players of their schedule match should be available during toss. Or else match will be played with the
available players at that time. Management will wait till 5 minutes else 3 runs or 2 ball will be deducted for every 2 minutes
19) Leg bye runs will be counted
20) Full toss above Waist level will be no ball.
21) If ball bounces over waist level than it will be a no ball.
22) Wrist spin not allowed
23) If bowler touches the box line while balling it will be considered as no ball.
