Following the enormous success of the inaugural Over 60s Cricket World Cup held in Queensland Sunshine Coast, Australia, in September 2022, hosted by Queensland Veterans Cricket (QVC), the VCI Veterans India Cricket Foundation was offered by the IMC (International Masters Cricket) to host the Second Over 60s Cricket World Cup in the coastal city of Chennai, India.

The Organisation committee has drawn on the experience gained from running this event and has been in contact with the organisers.

Generally, the Rules and Playing conditions are the same as recommended and formulated by IMC (International Masters Cricket), with some variations to suit all.

The Committee has faced the challenging task of ensuring all aspects are carefully handled for all participants involved. We now have 12 teams participating in this Edition and we are excited to hosting this competitive Event.
