Atchampet Premier League 2018 was organized between 24th Apr.’18 to 3rd May’18 at Achampet.
Out of the 8 participant teams, the final was played between Pavan Eleven Warriors and Baji Blasters on 3rd May’18 at Gattu Jagannadham Gaari Ground- Achampet.
Baji Blasters won the toss and elected to field. Proving their decision right, they dismantle the opponent team at a paltry score of 86 runs in 19.2 overs. None of the players from Pavan Eleven Warriors managed to go beyond 20’s. Highest scorer was G Naresh with 23 runs. All the bowlers of Baji Blasters did an excellent job but bowling highlight of the innings was K. Narendra, who picked 2 wickets in 4 overs by giving only 3 runs. Gopi V too chipped in with 3 important wickets in 3 overs damaging the batting line up of Pavan Eleven Warriors badly.
While chasing, it was not a smooth sailing for Baji Blasters as they started to lose wickets from early overs. However, Rouff, who came to bat on 3rd position played a good innings and added 36 runs off 27 balls with 6 boundaries and 1 six. Syam too came up with important 14 runs in crucial overs, which helped team reach at the target in 14.1 overs by losing 6 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was G Naresh from Pavan Eleven Warrior, who scalped 4 important wickets in 4 overs denying an easy win for Baji Blasters.
