Post the massive success of TNPL, Andhra Cricket Association has decided to launch its very own Andhra Premier League (APL) for men and women. The women's league has already concluded on 2nd July and the men's league is all set to kick off on July 6.
The inaugural season of this Andhra Premier League cricket tournament will feature 6 teams from 6 different regions. Teams will play in a round-robin format followed by the play-offs. Below are the teams with their respective franchises:
The finals will be played on 17th July and these matches will be live-streamed on Star Sports where the scoring will be done by CricHeroes.

Total of 20 players and 4 support staff will be allowed for each side along with the head coach, assistant coach, and a physiotherapist.
ACA council chairman Mr. Satya Prasad said that his main objective is to promote the sport at the ground level. He further added that it will be a golden opportunity for the grassroot players of the state to showcase their talent.
The Dr YSR Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium of Visakhapatnam will host the first season and to the viewers' delight, the entry will be free.
The tournament will see some Andhra stars like Ricky Bhui, KS Bharat and Ashwin Hebbar among others in action.
