The Mumbai Cricket Club started in the year 2002. Now MCC is a Branch of Jwala Sports Foundation, registered under the Society Act, 1860.
Academy is started with the aim to provide right guidance and higher level of coaching along with the national and international exposes to the players. MCC is a single window for all solutions. Such as cricket training, cricket tournaments, and international cricket tours. They not only coach the players but create all kinds of platform to achieve the target though different cricket tournaments.
Academy has some well-known players as their coaches. Mr. Wasim Jaffer, who played 31 matches of India gives batting consultation to the students. World record holder, Mr. Chaminda Vas comes twice a year for bowling consultation to the students of the academy. Mr. Rajesh Pawar who was a former Indian team player and Mr. Vinayak Samant who plays in Ranji Trophy comes to give regular guidance in bowling and wicket keeping areas.
