FRENZY CRICKET TOURNAMENT – 2023

General Tournament Guidelines:

1. This tournament is open to local players only and if any outside player is playing in the team would request opposition team to restrict and committee will take a call on it.

2. A player should play for one single team in the tournament and will be restricted if found playing in multiple teams.

3. An entry fee of Rs.3500/- per team should be paid in cash before the ties on 03rd December2023.

4. Only 1 ties in the start of the tournament. Ties copy and match schedule will be issued on 10th December 2023 with timings. Request all the teams to play in the allocated time schedule. Rescheduling of match timing is not possible.

5. 16 teams will play in a knockout format. Wilson ball will be used.

6. All the matches will be played with 11 players and 2 substitutes each side.

7. Umpire decision will be the final decision (Un-sportive behaviours will not be appreciated

and the team might end up being disqualified).

8. If the match ends with a draw, super over will decide winners.

9. Awards: Man of the match for every match, Man of the series, Best fielder, Best batsman

and Best Bowler.

10. The below table is the format of the tournament.

Rules:

1. Tennis ball cricket rules

2. First 2 overs compulsory power play

3. During power play, only 2 fielders will be allowed outside 30-Yard circle after power play

maximum of 5 fielders can be outside the 30 yard circle.

4. New batsman will take strike in case of wicket.

5. In the above table, we have issued time duration for a innings if a team fails to keep the time

according to the new cricket rule 1 fielder will be bought inside the circle by allowing only 4

fielders outside the 30 yard.

6. If a team, fails to report before the reporting time it will lead to walkover for the opposition

or reduction in overs.
