Tournament Playing Conditions
1. Teams registered under KCA, the guest players has to get an NOC from their parent clubs
and the respective DCA and the same shall be produced at the tournament venue.
2. All teams shall produce the players list in their official club letter head.
3. A maximum of 7 players are allowed to register as guests in the tournament and 5 players
can play as guests in a single match.(Not applicable for teams from outside Kerala)
4. Kerala registered players must not play in outside teams.
5. Match will be played in T- 20 format.
6. One bowler will have 4 over (1/5th of the total allotted overs)
7. 20 overs shall be completed in 90 minutes from the start of play including drinks break.
a. If team bowling first, is not completing their innings in stipulated 20 overs in 90 minutes
they will be allowed to bat only the overs they bowled in 90 minutes.
b. A bowling team delaying their overs will result in a penalty to the batting team.
c. If a bowling team is late in completing their overs after 90 minutes in a match, the
batting team will be allowed to batting power play in the remaining overs.
8. A 5 minutes drinks break & strategic time out will be given at the end of 10 overs in each
innings.
9. First 6 overs will be batting power play, in which 7 fielders should be compulsory inside the
30 yard circle.
10. Apart from the 6 overs of the batting power play. In the remaining 14 overs 4 fielders should
be compulsory placed inside the 30 yard circle.
11. Since we are using the white ball for the tournament all the teams shall have colored jersey
and pads.
12. In case of match tied
a. One super over will be bowled as the decider
b. In case of the super over ending in a tie, a toss in the presence of the match
officials will decide the winner
13. A match will be constituted only when at least 8 overs completed by both the sides
14. In case of delayed start due to conditions beyond our control, the match will be
rescheduled according to the situation.
15. In a match, when first innings ends and the second innings is completed after 8 Overs, the
result is decided based on the Rate of the Total run /over of the first innings
