Rules for Test Cricket Format (Modified Version)

1. Match Duration:

45 minutes shall be considered equivalent to one day of Test cricket.

2. Over Requirements:

A minimum of 12 overs must be bowled within each 45-minute session.

3. Team Composition & Innings Rules:

Each team shall consist of 9 players.

• A maximum of 4 wickets is allowed per innings.
• Players cannot be repeated across the two innings, except:
• Players who remain not out in the first innings are eligible to bat again in the second innings.

4. Over Rate Penalty:

Teams failing to maintain the required over rate will incur a penalty of 5 runs per over short.

5. Retired Players:

Retired hurt is not permitted.

Only retired out will be allowed.

6. Extras:

Wide balls and No balls will be adjudicated in accordance with ODI or T20 rules.

7. Boundary Rule:

A shot clearing the boundary for a six will be counted as 3 runs only.

The strike batter must change ends and go to the non-striker's end after the shot.
