Cricket - Rules & Regulations
1. Match Timings:
Match starts from 6 AM. Teams must report in ground on or before by 30 min from their scheduled game
Note: If the Team is not available in the ground on their scheduled time slot, Max of 5 mins is allowed to wait, if not that team will be disqualified and scheduled opponent will get the match point
2.Match Format:
Evey match will consist of 6 overs per innings, 11 players per team (2 substitutes is allowed only for fielding)
To start a match Minimum of 9 players should be available
If the team has less than 9 players at the scheduled start time, they will be disqualified.
Every match - First 2 overs will be a Power play. (2 players only allowed to field from 30-yard circle)
Semi-Finals and Final, Number of Overs will be decided based on time (Organizing team only will decide)
3.Bowling Rules:
Two players can bowl 2 overs; others can bowl 1 over each.
Wicket keeper is allowed to bowl for the game (Before bowling Need to inform the keeper change to leg umpire)
A bowler has to inform his bowling guard to umpire before start of the over, in-between overs if the bowler changes the bowling guard it has to be informed to umpire before bowling
4.Types of No-balls
Over-stepping the Crease line,
Balls bowled above the waist (Full Toss)
Second bouncer above the shoulder.
A bouncer above the head is a wide and a warning. The next delivery above the head is a no-ball.
All No-balls result in a free hit. Free-hit dismissals are only by run-out or stumping.
If a batsman or captain raises concerns about a bowler's action being illegal, both umpires will review. They will decide whether the bowler can continue or must stop.
5.Substitutions:
Substitutes are only allowed to field cannot bat or bowl. (Exceptions when the player got hurt and unable to player for next matches)
Any changes in the substitutes have to be update to field umpire by team captain
6.General Rules:
No LBW or leg byes.
Byes are allowed
If a match is interrupted, it will resume on the same day in the available ground. No re-matches.
No by-runner for injured batsmen. They may retire from the innings(substitution).
In case of a tie, a super over will be played: 1over, 2 wickets in hand.
Players need to bring their own bats and safety guards. Each person is responsible for their own belongings.
7.Conduct:
Captains must ensure their teams maintain good conduct and a sporting environment.
The On-field umpire's decisions are final no more claims or arguments are allowed if they fail to follow - Team will be pushed to disqualification
The organizing committee has the right to disqualify teams for any verbal or physical interruptions or consumption of alcohol or any misconduct.
8.Slow rate penalty:
Slow over rates can lead to match penalties (Five runs will be deducted from their teams actual score for the scheduled match).

Time taken for bowling,
Bowler changes
Batsman changes after a wicket fall will be calculated and allowed within a specific limit (1 minutes each maximum). If any team takes more time beyond this, it will lead to a penalty.
Any unnecessary arguments in between the match and bowling slow over rate will leads to penalties.
The penalties will be decided by organizing committee.
9.Dress Code:
Shoes and Track Pants mandatory.
All participants must bring their ID cards; those who fail to do so will not be allowed to play in the match. team captain/SPOC need to ensure that.
