Match Rules
THESE RULES ARE BEING MADE SO EVERYONE GETS A CHANCE TO PLAY. LETS PLAY. HAVE FUN
Each Inning will be of 3 overs. Every match should be completed with 15 minutes without wasting any extra time.
NO MATCH WILL BE ON HOLD IF ANY PLAYER IS NOT PRESENT. Captains please make sure all the players are present during your match otherwise you’ll have to continue with short player or else other team will get direct byes.
Bowlers cannot start batting as openers but can come to bat after 2 wickets.
First 3 batsman including openers won’t be allowed to bowl if batting first.
Hit-Wicket will only be considered as Out if fielding team appeals for it. Unnecessarily giving wickets or getting Out purposely will not be tolerated to maintain the decorum of the tournament.
Rapid and Side arm (above waist height) bowling not allowed.
Bowling run up should be within the box.
Side net rule applies on all overs . No power play rule in this tournament.
If match is a tie, winner will be declared on the basis of most wickets taken by the team. If both the teams have same number of wickets, each team will be given one point due to time shortage. NO SUPEROVER will be played under any circumstances in any league matches. Super Over can be played only in Eliminator or Final match only if it’s a tie and both teams has same number of wickets.
After all league matches, 1st Ranked team will Qualify for Finals, 2nd and 3rd will play Eliminator to reach Finals.
If time limits we might have only final match between the top 2 teams and No Eliminator Match will be played.
Also, if time permits we can play Eliminator and Final match of 4 overs each.
All scoring will be done on CricHeroes app. Recording or Youtube Live if permissible*.
Umpries and Officials has the right to change and take decisions on field.
