? Champions Trophy 2025 – Tournament Rules & Regulations 

? Match Format

All matches will be 18 overs per side.

Minimum 3 40+ category players should have to be in each team .

Minimum 2 40+ players should have to be in Batting/ Bowling playing eleven 

⚡ Powerplay Rules

Powerplay 1 (P1): First 3 overs – A maximum of 2 fielders outside the 30-yard circle.

Powerplay 2 (P2): Batting team can choose 3 overs (anytime between overs 9-16)A maximum of 3 fielders outside the 30-yard circle.

? Batting Restrictions

A batter must retire after facing 30 balls

If there are no remaining batters, a retired batter can return to continue the innings.

If multiple batters have retired upon facing 30 balls, the team captain can decide which retired batter returns when no other batters are available.

A 40+ batter should have to bat in Top 3

?Bowling Restrictions

A bowler can bowl a maximum of 3 overs in an innings .

Minimum 3 overs in an innings to bowl by a 40+ player

? General Rules

Standard T20 rules will be applied unless stated otherwise.

Each team must have a 15- member squad.

3 Impact Players can be used in a match.

Every squad member to be used properly in atleast 2 matches at the league stage.

Failure to comply with the minimum match requirement without player consent will lead to team disqualification from the next stage.
