CRICKET RULES AND REGULATIONS
 
1. Each innings will be of Eight (8) overs in League stage and 10 (ten) overs in Semifinal and Final.
 
2. Two Bowler can bowl a maximum of Three (3) overs i.e., Minimum 4 bowlers should be used.
 
3. Inner Circle will be of 18 Yards. Maximum Five (5) Fielders will be allowed to field outside the Inner Circle throughout the innings.
 
4. Batsmen can take a runner only if allowed by opposition team Captain on reasonable ground.
 
5. In case a batsman is retired hurt, he shall be allowed to bat again only after all the batsmen of his team gets out i.e., at the end.
 
6. Following a no-ball, the next ball shall be a free hit and for this ball the batsman cannot be given out apart from being a run out and the position of the fielders should be the same given that Strike is not changed.
 
7. A maximum of one bouncer can be bowled by a bowler in an over.
 
8. If a ball bounces twice before it reaches to the batsman, it shall be a dead ball.
 
9. If in any circumstances like bad weather etc, match gets abandoned then the decision of the technical committee will be final and binding.
 
10. In case of a tie, one Point will be rewarded to each team in league stage, however in semifinal and final, a tie breaker over will be played, where team who fielded first in the match will bat first in that over. In tie breaker over, maximum two batsman will be allowed. If wicket of one batsman fall during that over, the other batsman will continue the tie breaker over alone till he gets out. Team who scores maximum runs in tie breaker over will be considered aswinner of the match. Further if tie breaker over also gets tie, then result will be based on toss. 
 
11. Ball used in the tournament will be ‘HEADLEY’. 
 
12. Wicket-keeping gloves are not allowed.
 
13. The umpire’s decision in all matters will be final and binding. 
 
14. Extra Run will be given for Wide Ball/ No Ball. Bye Runs and Over throw Runs will also be considered. 
 
15. LBW will not be considered for a wicket. Also, Leg-Bye Runs will not be allowed. Also, Strike Change will not be considered in such case. 
 
16. 2 (Two) Points will be given to the winning team for every win. 
 
17. In Case of Tie in Points Table, Run Rate will be considered for Selection of Qualifying Teams for the Playoff.
 
18. Calculation Of Run Rate :- 
 
Total Runs Scored in 3 League Matches 
Total Overs Faced in  3 League Matches 
Note:- (a) If a team gets All Out then total Allotted Overs (i.e 8 overs) will be considered for Run Rate calculation and not the Total Actual Overs Faced. 
 
(b) Fall of Wickets will not be considered for above calculation. 
 
19. Mini Over Concept is allowable only if opposition Captain permits.
 
20. If any match is delayed due to any reason like rain etc then match may be reduced to a minimum of one over per side to be jointly decided by umpires and technical committee. In a case, where a reduced overs match is played, there will be no super over in such a match and other limitations shall be revised accordingly jointly by the umpires and technical committee. 
 
21. Players must be preferably in Black Trousers with his team’s t-shirt given by the Marwari Yuva Manch, Every player shall wear shoes.
